The central unit (NOXone) must be connected to the door module (NOX CMU or CMO) via twisted pair bus cable. We recommend 4x2x0.6 PTS from Nexans or similar. The wiring is performed as a regular RS485 bus connection according to the Daisy-Chain principle, which means the cable must be routed from the central unit to the first door module, and then onto the second door module and so on.
within the last door module an end of line 120 ohm resistor has to be inserted. You also need to insert an end of line 120 ohm resistor in the central unit between A & B on the bus terminals.
This leading to you having a 120 ohm end of line resistor at both ends of the RS485 bus.
The cable has a maximum length of 600 meters but remember to calculate the resulting voltage drop from the power draw of the lock.
NB: You can remove the bus terminals from the print (they are connected as a plug). Beneath them are the markings (+, -, A, B).

Using shielded cables, the screen is not installed at any of the ends. With long cable runs along other cables (100m+), the screen should be connected to GND in the central unit but may not touch any of the conductive parts in the other end.
4. Install the keypad panel (see guide below for the code panel/card reader). Use either the same cable as for the data bus connection, or something similar.
Install the cable from the card reader in the door module (NOX CMU or CMO) according to the card reader guide below.
Install the lock and optionally an EXIT-button according to the below guide (Remember to read the note about different lock types in the guide).
Please be aware that the maximum power supply of the NOX is 12vdc 0.8A
Connect the cords from the relays and install them in the central unit according to the terminal list on the last page.
Connect the back-up battery with the accompanied cable and plug it into the PCB on the central unit marked with “12V BATTERY”.
Connect 230V to the central unit.
Connect the port “WAN” on the Teltonika RUT200 firewall, that is located below the main NOX PCB, to an internet connection that can assign IP addresses via DHCP.
Make sure that the firewall CANNOT be assigned an IP address between 10.101.0.0 and 10.101.254.254. because that can cause problems. If you have a 4G router it is not likely it will be a problem.
Contact Outscale to have the system tested on +45 69 69 13 23, on the time which you have previously scheduled.
After the testing is completed, please ensure to make a diagram of court names in relation to relays – this diagram should be forwarded to the owner of the courts who will in turn forward it to the Bookingmanager.
The relays in the center of the NOX correlates with the number of courts provided by the owner before purchase of the system
The relays can be used to turn on the lights and has a potential-free contact to control the lights.
Please note that the relays has a maximum switching capacity of 6A 250V and that extra relays might need to be added.
The courts are numbered 1-? from left to right

Connection of bus connection to door modules
|
The keypad is connected to the NOX via the CMO-module. The CMO-module is installed accordingly to the specifications above.
The connection between the CMO and the Exread keypad reader must be made according to the drawing below. The recommended cable is a twisted pair. The cable used for the nox-bus can be used. Max length is 80m. but remeber EOL resistors in both ends on longer runs.
